What size are your art prints?
The image size for my square art prints are 8 x 8 inches (approx 20 x 20 cm) and rectangular art prints are 8 x 10 inches (approx 20 x 25 cm) standard photo frame size. A thin white border is left surrounding the printed image for framing and to help protect the art print.
Do you sell larger sizes than what's listed in your shop?
My illustrations are printed at their original sizes (see above dimensions). Unfortunately the artwork would lose quality if it was enlarged anymore. However, it can go into a larger frame with a mat board window for a more prominent wall feature.
How are your art prints made?
The artwork is printed from my original illustrations on archival matte paper weight = 192 gsm and 0.26mm thickness. They are not ready to hang. Framing is recommended.
What methods do you use to create your original artwork?
My illustrations are drawn by hand with pencil on paper, then scanned and saved as a computer file. I use a wacom pen/mouse as I would a traditional paint brush to paint in the colours digitally using Adobe Photoshop. Many of the textures you see in my backgrounds I have created using acrylic on watercolour paper, scanned and saved as digital paint brushes. I describe my artwork as 'mixed media', traditional and digital art methods combined. My artwork is all my own creation learnt from art college and years of illustration experience.
In my Room art series and name series are a mixed media of pencil drawing, watercolour wash, digital colouring and vector illustration.
Just Like ME! little portrait series were originally illustrated as separate elements eg. hair style and colour options etc... Each illustrated element is then assembled digitally, personalised to resemble the child as a character impression.
Whimsical Girls and On-the-go Boys series are a mix of traditional acrylic painting effects using sponge and splatter painting, hand drawing and digital colouring.
Do you have any framing advice?
My 8 x 10 inch (approx. 20 x 25 cm) art prints fit a standard photo frame size. A variety of coloured and designer frames can be purchased from department stores worldwide. If you're looking for something to match in with your child's room decor or you wish to frame one of my 8 x 8 inch (approx. 20 x 20 cm) art prints, you would be best to have it custom framed. It's amazing how prices vary from one framer to another, my advice is to source quotes from 2 or 3 framers in your area and look at their work to be sure of the quality.
How do I supply personalised details?
You will find drop menus and text fields above the 'add to cart' button under each item's description. Simply type in child's name and/or select from the drop down colours and/or styles before clicking the 'add to cart' button. The details you have selected will automatically appear at the checkout. If you select the incorrect details, you can go to the checkout, remove from cart and try again. If you are further into your transaction and is too late to correct details or you wish to add more information, please contact me.
Will I see an art proof before postage?
If you have ordered a personalised art print, I will email an art proof to your nominated PayPal email address within 2-3 work days after payment and personalised details are received. If you would like me to use a different email address, please specify with your message or note from buyer. If I haven't received a reply from you with your approval or changes, your art print will be dispatched within the next 2-3 work days to your nominated PayPal postal address, again if you would like it sent to a different post address, please send me the address with your payment message.
How long will my order take to arrive?
For Australian buyers, usually within 1-3 business days and for Overseas buyers usually within 7-14 business days after order, payment and personalised details (if required) are received. Sometimes orders can take longer to arrive depending on where you live. If your order takes longer than 20 days to arrive please contact me.
How much is shipping/postage?
A flat shipping charge of $7.50 AU (Australian Dollars) will be applied at the checkout if you order 1 or 2 art prints. If you order 3 or more prints, shipping will be FREE worldwide.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
I offer combined shipping on orders of 2 and free shipping on orders of 3 or more. Please see shipping costs above for more information.
What are my payment options?
Purchases can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank account through Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account. Add the items you wish to the cart and proceed to the secure checkout once finished.
Once order is submitted click "Pay Now". This will open a separate PayPal window & on the left you'll see "Don't have a PayPal Account?" Use this option to proceed with your secure payment using your Credit/Debit Card without having to sign up with PayPal.
